Madinat Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah (MYAS)

Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah is located on the Read Sea Coast some 350 Kilometers north of Jeddah and 20 kilometers south Yanbu Al-Bahr.  The project site encompasses 185 square kilometers, most of which is dedicated to industrial activity.
Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah was nominated for development because of its excellent geographic location for exporting petroleum and petrochemical products to Western markets.   Pipelines link Yanbu with the Eastern Province oil fields and provide the Kingdom with a strategically important alternative for shipping crude oil, natural gas liquids, and their refined derivatives.

The community area, which may eventually house as many as 120,000 people, is subdivided into 14 districts.  Each district will be largely self-contained and able to provide a full range of services and facilities to its residents.

Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah today is a far cry from the coastal desert that greeted the first site surveyors less than twenty years ago.

Today, in the city’s industrial park, world class refining and petrochemical complex converts oil and natural gas into products for export and into feedstock’s for local manufacturers.

Nearby, in beautifully landscaped neighborhoods, community residents enjoy excellent housing and a broad range of educational, health and recreational services and facilities. Industrial, commercial and residential development continues as private-sector investor exploits the excellent investment opportunities the city has to offer.
