SAMREF was a gold sponsor of the Gulf Downstream Association Conference and Exhibition which was organized from 13 to 15 February in Bahrain.
As a gold tier sponsor, SAMREF was recognized by Bahrain’s minister of Oil and Environment and special envoy of Climate Affairs, H. E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Mubarak Bin Dainah.
SAMREF was recognized by the RCJY CEO for its leading CSR initiatives. The recognition was part of the 1st RCJY Investment Forum conducted at MYAS.
On Tuesday Feb 07th, 2023; SAMREF and the RC-Yanbu inaugurated both “Health Sidewalk” at Prince Saud Bin Thuniyan Sports Park and “Waterfront Relaxation Area for Elderly & Handicapped People” projects in the presence of HE/ CEO of RCJY. Such projects are part of SAMREF CSR initiatives to promote quality of life at MYAS.
SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Khalid K. Al-Jehairan signed a memo of understanding with YASREF President & CEO, Mr. Hesham Al-Adel in the presence of leading counterparts from both organizations. The MOU is to adopt integrated synergies in order to maximize mutual productivity and profitability.
Under the auspices of the HRSD assistant minister for labor sector, SAMREF Labor Committee took part in the private sectors conference held under the theme “LC Role in Improving Work Environment”. SAMREF LC had a pavilion with active involvement in the associated workshops.
Under the auspices of the Governor of Yanbu, Mr. Saad Al-Suhaimi, in the presence of SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Khalid K. Al-Jehairan, Director of Yanbu Municipality, Mr. Yasser Al-Refaie and Director of Yanbu Education department, Mr. Saleem Al-Atwi; the “Yanbu Green” initiative was inaugurated in association with Yanbu Municipality. It aims to plant around 150K trees at Yanbu Cornish, schools, health care centers and mosques.
A multitude of Yanbu school students took part in the event by planting a lot of trees at a school.
The initiative also aims to achieve the “Saudi Green” objectives by encouraging the community individuals to help increase the overall green spaces while contributing to promoting the environmental protection and awareness to improve climate conditions.
Under the auspices of Acting Yanbu Governor, Mr. A. Al-Mutairi, SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Khalid K. Al-Jehairan inaugurated a series of CSR initiatives in support of the Comprehensive Rehabilitation center at Yanbu.
SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Khalid K. Al-Jehairan paid a courtesy visit to the office of RC-Yanbu CEO, Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Juhani. Mutual opportunities were explored and strengthened ties were emphasized during the visit.
On Mon 28 Nov 2022, SAMREF board meeting was held at the Company premises in MYAS.
After the meeting, Mr. Yahya A. Abu Shal was honored in recognition of his diligent efforts during his tenure as a director from 01 March 2015 to 30 November 2022.
