Samref, as part of its social responsibility, offers COOP training opportunities to a selected number of Saudi students from various universities and colleges to help them gain a practical work experience and satisfy their academic program graduation requirements.
Eligibility:
- Applying Student must be Saudi national.
- Applying Student must be in the final academic year or has completed at least 50% of the total semesters.
- Applying Student’s academic major must be relevant to Samref business.
- Applying Student’s minimum accumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) must be 2.4 on a 4-point scale or 3 on a 5-point scale or equivalent.
- Applying Student must have a valid and approved COOP training request from an Educational Entity.
The Academic/Study Major Should be One of the Following:
- Electrics & Electrical Engineering
- Instrument
- Analytical Chemistry
- Machinery
- Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering
- Systems, Instrument & Control Engineering
- Chemistry
- Chemical Engineering
- Safety Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Computer Engineering/Computer Science
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Administration
- Human Resources
- Management Information System
- Facility Management
- Accounting

Registration Timeline:
End Date of Registration is July 20, 2024.
Start Date of the Cooperative Training Program is August 25, 2024.

1. Fill out & upload the required data in 4 tabs (My documents, Profile Information, Education and Job- Specific info.)
2. My Document Tab: Upload your COOP Training Letter in Resume/CV Filed and attach your Academic Transcript in Transcript Filed.
Selection Criteria:
- Highest GPAs.
- Relevant study major matching with the available COOP training opportunities within Samref.
- Responding timely to Samref verification requests (text messages and emails).
- Complete and correct submitted application.
