Today, the SA Downstream Frontline Leadership Safety Boot Camp (112) concluded at SAMREF under the auspices of SA Downstream President, Mr. Mohammed Y. Al-Qahtani.
Upon fulfilment of the event, SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohammed M. Farsi honored the participants and reiterated the unwavering commitment to safety and effective leadership.
The boot camp was attended by a multitude of Saudi Aramco and JVs employees with active participation.
The 110th meeting of SAMREF board of directors was recently held. It was headed by SAMREF board chairman, Dr. Faisal Al-Faqeer, where a diverse business agenda related to the strategic plans and goals were addressed and upheld in order to achieve and sustain SAMREF’s future growth prospects.
Today, Yanbu Governor, Mr. Saad M. Al-Suahimi welcomed SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohammed M. Farsi at his office.
During the visit, Mr. Al-Suahimi congratulated Mr. Farsi and wished him a successful tenure. Also, potential collaboration aspects and ways of supporting local community were discussed.

The 109th SAMRE Board of Directors meeting was held on 17 April in Ras Tanura. Several items on the agenda were discussed including the ongoing projects, business performance, refinery operations and strategic plans to achieve and sustain SAMREF’s growth prospects.
SAMREF took part in the 2025 sport festival organized by the RC-Yanbu to be the football championship winners after defeating the RC team on penalty shootout in the final match.
