The meeting of SAMREF board of directors was recently held. It was headed by SAMREF board chairman, Dr. Faisal Al-Faqeer, to discuss key business agenda related to the operational excellence and financial acumen as well as the strategic plans and goals in order to achieve and sustain SAMREF’s future growth prospects.
SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohammed M. Farsi visited Madinah Prosthetics and Medical Rehabilitation Unit to look into initiatives supported by SAMREF as part of the CSR program.
Such initiatives have helped to:
- Increase the number of total services by 20%.
- Serve more than 20,500 patients at the physiotherapy department.
- Minimize the waiting time from 7 to 2 days.
- Render more than 4,800 services at the prosthetics department.
- Mitigate the waiting time at the prosthetics services from 28 to 14 days.
- Decrease the waiting time for taking prosthetic measurements from 2 months to 2 weeks.
This effort is testament of SAMREF’s unwavering commitment to supporting the quality of life and enhancing medical services to serve the local community.
The “Invest Financial Awareness initiative has been recently organized at SAMREF for two days. Target group included SAMREF employees and their family members in order to enhance their saving and investment awareness and to reinforce their financial acumen.
Many prominent banking institutions and real estate developers took part in the initiative to provide consulting services and investment opportunities that help the participant build their own financial experience.
As part of SAMREF CSR initiatives focusing on visually-impaired people, SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohammed M. Farsi visited Yanbu Blind Association (Khatwah) to donate braille devices that help the target students broaden their opportunities and continue their academic journey confidently and independently. In addition, the initiative includes a series of user guidelines training sessions for all of their eligible beneficiaries. Also, beneficiaries were provided white canes and the entire building was furnished with tactile flooring.
SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohmmed M. Farsi met the chairman of Naamaa Food Preservation Association, Dr. Fahad Al-Qurashi and the associated delegation. During the meeting, SAMREF Food Preservation Support initiative was launched to provide two trucks along with kitchen items that help improve quality of food saving and distribution to the beneficiaries.
Dr. Fahad stated that their year-to-date efforts were extended to more than ten thousand meals covering hundreds of needy families.
As part of SAMREF CSR activities, SAMREF President & CEO, Mr. Mohammed M. Farsi met the chairman of Rafah Health Association, Mr. Abdulraheem Al-Zalabani and their board members to launch Rafah Healthcare Campaign.
The campaign is supported by SAMREF in order to promote the quality of life of local community by conducting multidisciplinary medical checks covering individuals in Yanbu area. They jointly assured that their efforts will continue to serve the local community through sustainable and effective initiatives.
